In 2015 the PCM Program announced a call for partial funding of PCM research projects (the pilot projects). The aim was to build up a base of experience by a better understanding of existing obstacles and opportunities in the efforts of installing a smooth workflow for translational cancer research. The collected knowledge could then be used by other future PCM-projects towards implementation of PCM in routine cancer care at KI/K.
